Staffordshire centralised cashless catering system award.

Provision of a centralised cashless catering system for Staffordshire catering has been awarded to Nationwide Retail Systems Ltd. The solution will be rolled out across Staffordshire schools and other establishments which utilise the services of Staffordshire catering.

Staffordshire County Council is looking for a provider to supply and implement a biometric cashless catering solution within Staffordshire schools. Staffordshire catering has a budget to roll out to as many schools as possible, following on from this the schools will have to fund the solution from their established budgets. The initial roll out will be done on a first come first serve basis. After this point schools in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent will be able to utilise the agreement at their own discretion. The provider must be able to provide and install suitable biometric cashless catering solutions to meet the requirements of the individual schools. There are approximately 70 secondary schools and 300 plus primary schools within the Staffordshire LEA and 22 schools in Stoke on Trent LEA.
